About Adirondack Poetry

Blueberry Picking on Jay Mountain

I make my living as an artist these days,
But once it was only poetry,
And I made no living.

I decided to make a painting to go
With each poem, that’s why the title
Always comes to me first.

Sometimes the title is so fulfilling,
The art never gets created.
My pleasure alone is in the title

My satisfaction, in the thought
Worked out and brought down
From that level where the gods play

Where poets entertain themselves
Taking time, touching the poetry,

And picking all the blueberries.

Adirondack Poetry will be where I consolidate all my scattered poems, and thoughts.
I will separate them into digital books on this website and into handmade books
that I will sell through this site and in my gallery.

I will be listing all this information as I develop the pages for this website.

In addition I hope to also offer performances of poetry and percussion.
